Getting Creative with Northern Beaches Secondary College

Last week Northern Beaches Secondary College held their annual all-staff professional development day, bringing together staff from the different campuses that make up the college. Deftly organised and managed by Renata Grudic (Head Teacher, Teaching and Learning) the day was an amazing collection of TeachMeet-style short presentations, hands on workshops and a world cafe to share learnings. New PD: Collaborative Creativity in the Classroom

This week our professional development course on Collaborative Creativity was endorsed by BOSTES.   This half-day workshop provides teachers with the tools and pedagogy to implement collaborative creativity in the classroom. ‘Collaborative creativity’ describes activities where we groups of individuals work together to arrive at original, innovative and creative solutions. This is a skill-set that is increasingly in demand, in professional, social and personal contexts.
